Futron Aviation is providing aviation and engineering stakeholders new insights into the consistently evolving UAS environment.
Futron Aviation led a Transportation Research Board, Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) report 03-30 titled “UAS at Airports – A Primer” and a research study titled “Collection, Analysis, and Interpretation of Data Obtained from Unmanned Aerial Systems for Bridges” for the Federal Highway Administration.
The company is a subcontractor for a Safe Skies, PARAS 0012 research project titled, “Guidance for Integrating UAS in Airport Security.” Futron Aviation is also a part of state engineering on call contracts for the implementation and use of UAS.
Because of Futron Aviation’s core business includes aviation safety, risk management and safety culture, we can provide guidance on creating, implementing, and sustaining a UAS flight program that succeeds based on having a comprehensive set of procedures and systems all integrated with a positive safety culture.
Futron Aviation has the expertise needed to advise Airports, Commercial and Military Operators, and Manufacturers on all UAS considerations through collaboration with our Part 107 Certified Remote Pilots.
